Golden Flyers compete at Cardinal ClassicPublished by
Results PITTSFORD, N.Y -- Nazareth's track and field teams traveled down East Avenue for the Cardinal Classic on Saturday, which was hosted by St. John Fisher College. Junior Luis Rivera continued to dominate the hammer throw event, where he placed first with a throw of 53.95 meters (117 feet). It was just shy of his best mark of 54 meters (177 feet, 2 inches), which he reached at Nazareth's Roc City Classic meet. Meanwhile in the women's meet, senior Hannah Brackley recorded a second-place, school-record performance in the 100-meter dash with a time of :12.56.
