Nazareth breaks records at Empire 8 ChampionshipsPublished by
Women's results l Men's results HOUGHTON, N.Y. Nazareth's men's and women's track and field teams competed in the Empire 8 Championships at Houghton on Saturday. Senior Hannah Brackley took first in the 200-meter and 400-meter events with times of :25.98 and :58.36, respectively. Brackley broke the facility record in both events, and her time in the 200 also set a new school record. Her previous time was :26.49. She missed the event record by only .04 seconds. In the men's meet, junior Luis Rivera took first in the 35-pound weight throw with a school-record, facility-record, and meet-record mark of 18.44 meters (60 ft., 6 in.).
